Hannah Ashley Abbott of Water View has recently joined the Southside Sentinel as its full-time advertising sales manager.
Hannah will be working with veteran sales representative Gloria Abbott (not related) to assist existing customers and new businesses with advertising and marketing ideas through the Sentinel, The Rivah Visitor’s Guide, and the websites for those publications, www.SSentinel.com and www.RivahGuide.com.
Hannah is a native of the Northern Neck and a graduate of Rappahannock High School in Warsaw. She graduated magna cum laude in 2015 from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland with a bachelor of arts in sociology.
She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society and Alpha Kappa Delta sociology honor society in 2015, and was listed by Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges in 2014 and 2015.
Prior to joining the Sentinel, Hannah worked four years with Apex Life Sciences in Glen Allen, an international leader in matching top scientific, engineering, and clinical research professionals with career opportunities. Her success as a recruiter led to several top performer awards, promotions to team leader positions, and eventually a promotion to Senior Professional Recruiter.
