Audie Lee Marshall passed away on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 at his sister’s home, where he lived for the past two years.
He is preceded by his father, Wilton Roger Marshall Sr., and mother, Evelyn Mae (Bristow).
He was the brother of Julie Sapp, Wilton (Ruby, wife), Patsy Lee, Becky Throckmorton (Tony, husband) and Tammy Hock (Joe, husband).
A celebration of life is planned for 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9 at the home of Julie Sapp, 1848 Wares Bridge Road, Church View. Friends and family of Audie are invited. Dress is casual. Bring a chair. Bring a written memory.
We will be furnishing a bagged lunch and beverage (no alcohol).
Note: Limited parking, so consider riding together if possible.
Audie was retired from the state department. He received many awards over the years. He was loved by many and the family wants to honor and remember the way he made others laugh.
Audie’s health was failing, but he never complained.
God’s grace and mercy, His love and kindness took Audie’s hand in His hand to Heaven.
If it rains, the celebration will be the following Saturday.
