MHS grapplers rout Windsor and Indians
imageThe Middlesex High School (MHS) wrestling team defeated both Windsor (72-8) and Northumberland (54-24) on Wednesday, January 16, in the John S. Clements Memorial Gym at MHS in Saluda. The Chargers were paced by Brock Parris in the 106-pound division. Parris had 2 pins, with the fastest pin in 32 seconds.

Chargers down Nandua; host Carver Friday night
The Middlesex boys varsity basketball team opened an early lead, held off a Nandua rally, and went on to win its second game in a row, 62-50 in the John S. Clements Memorial Gym at MHS on January 11.

MHS girls rip Nandua
The Middlesex varsity girls basketball team split a pair of games in recent action, falling to conference foe West Point 60-27 and winning at Nandua 56-24. The loss to conference-leading West Point on January 8 puts the Lady Chargers two games behind in the Tidewater District standings going down the stretch.
