Many youths participated in Vacation Bible School at Immanuel Baptist Church near Saluda between August 5-9 and were taught “When life is sad God is good.” The children had devotions, prayer, classes in Bible stories, religious movies, arts and crafts, ROAR singing and dancing, outside activities such as basketball and hopscotch, and choir practice.
