The Rev. Eddie Heath pastor of Urbanna Baptist Church, delivered the benediction at the annual Urbanna community Memorial Day observance Monday at the Urbanna Town Marina. Seated on stage were Emcee Dan Snead of Urbanna, left, a U.S. Navy veteran who served in Vietnam, and Keynote Speaker Robert Fitch Jr., who served in the Mideast as a U.S. Army colonel. The Charlotte, N.C., resident’s parents live in Urbanna.
About 50 attended the solemn salute to fallen U.S. service members.
