Pat was born to a family of egg farmers. She attended William and Mary College, and married her beloved Richard shortly after. She adored Urbanna — her home for 70 years — and contributed to its unique character through her stewardship of two local landmarks, Marshall’s Drugstore and R.S. Bristow, revitalizing the latter with her keen eye for fashion and decoration. Her kindness and sense of humor were legendary, and her home was always abuzz with visitors, laughter, and warmth. She loved children, nature, gardening, doodling, and spending time with her family, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Urbanna Methodist Church and to The Town of Urbanna Beautification Committee in her memory.
Faulkner Funeral Home, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda is assisting the family.
