Middlesex High School’s varsity volleyball team posted two wins last week defeating King and Queen Central, and Mathews. The Lady Chargers swept both matches in three straight sets. “We have really started to come together as a group and everyone is getting more comfortable on the floor,” said Middlesex coach Brian Walton.
On Sept. 14, Middlesex defeated the visiting Lady Tigers 15-10, 25-13 and 25-23.
On Thursday, Sept. 16, the visiting Lady Chargers defeated Mathews 25-17, 25-21 and 25-22.
