Middlesex High School’s girls tennis team defeated Lancaster 6-3 in the Monday, May 19, Class 1A regional quarterfinals on the Charger girls’ campus.
Singles results include:
- Meeha Ferris lost, 5-7, 6-2, 4-10
- Zikirah Morris lost, 1-6, 0-6
- Julia Dise won, 6-1, 6-0
- Alyssa Moore won by forfeit
- Allison Mendoza won by forfeit
- Jasiah Fuller won by forfeit
Doubles results include:
- Dise / Moore lost 0-8
- Ferris / Morris won by forfeit
- Mendoza / Fuller won by forfeit
The Charger girls fell to Rappahannock of Warsaw, 0-6, in the Tuesday, May 20, Class 1A regional tournament semifinal, which was at Rappahannock Community College in Warsaw.

Doubles did not play, due to the Raiders winning the match already.
Meeha Ferris was expected to play in the Class 1A singles tournament and the doubles team of Meeha Ferris and Zikirah Morris was expected to play in the Class 1A doubles tournament. Both were conducted at Mathews High School, starting Wednesday, May 28. Results were unavailable at press tim’e.
