The Middlesex High School (MHS) varsity baseball team picked up its first Tidewater District win last week as the Chargers defeated West Point, 10-0, in a slaughter rule contest.
“The entire team had a great day,” said MHS Head Coach John Matthew Robins. “We hit the ball well and our defense on the field was outstanding.”
The Chargers are now 2-4 overall, 1-0 district in the win-loss column.
The Chargers are also scheduled to host the Rappahannock Raiders on Friday, April 22, at 7 p.m. and will travel to Mathews High School on Tuesday, April 26, at 5 p.m.
