James Albert “Baldy” Johnson, 59, of Locust Hill, departed this life and entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Carrington Place of Tappahannock.
James was born May 31, 1963 to the late James Edward Johnson and Ellen Beverley Johnson.
He is survived by two children, Juanita Alicia Johnson and James Albert Johnson Jr.; two grandchildren, Kamilah and Jayceon Johnson; a sister, Cynthia Waters; brother, Michael Johnson; half-sister Engr Johnson; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11, at Calvary Baptist Church, Saluda. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 10, at Calvary Baptist Church, Saluda.
