Applications are open for Arts in the Middle’s local artist tent for the 2022 festival.
Presented just outside Urbanna, Arts in the Middle is consistently rated one of the best outdoor art shows in Virginia. It is a perennial favorite among artists, with visitor attendance in the thousands. The Local Artist Tent was created to give visibility to artists in the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck by providing a prominent gallery-style space where visitors can see and support their work.
Applications are open to fine art of all mediums. Each artist receives space for at least five pieces, and may put out a browse bin for prints. There is a “Best Local Artist” award, along with a catered reception Saturday night. A hanging fee of $40 helps defray the cost of the tent. Artists handle their own sales.
Applications can be found online at artsinthemiddle.com…
