The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Richmond Chapter will host a Caregiver Education Conference on Wednesday, November 6, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Lancaster County Public Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
Most persons, when confronted with the reality that a family member has Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia, are not equipped to provide appropriate care for their loved one. This conference is designed to empower caregivers with the knowledge, tools and skills that are essential for navigating available dementia-specific resources and for providing the highest quality care for persons with dementia and their families.
