The Middlesex County Sports Complex Committee (MCSCC) is seeking funds to finish off a new “family” picnic pavilion currently under construction and to rebuild dugouts on the baseball and softball fields.

The all-volunteer MCSCC is composed of Chairman Fleet, Jackie Taylor (secretary/treasurer/fundraising chairman), Vice Chairman Joe Heyman, Grounds Chairman Tammie Putney, Don Harris (little league liaison), Wayne Jessie (MCBS liaison) and board member Craig Revere. Since the group was founded as a 501c3 nonprofit organization in 1995 it has raised more than $900,000 for the complex.

As part of fundraising projects, the committee has put a price tag of $30,000 for naming rights for the pavilion with a 25-year term and payments may be made over a five-year period option, said Taylor. “We also have picnic tables for the pavilion and with a donation of $200 this will purchase a “dedication” plaque on the end of each table…”
