Nancy Margaret Dean, 75, of Water View, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital after a brief illness.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret B. and Freddie J. Dean; grandmother, Margaret Kottman; and brother, Thomas R. Dean.
Nancy owned Bay Landscaping and Property Management in Deltaville. She was a devoted animal lover and re-homed, fostered and adopted many dogs throughout her life. It was not uncommon for Nancy to have as many as seven dogs in her home!
Nancy is survived by her brother, Freddie Junious Dean Jr. (April) of Fort Worth, Texas; sister-in-law, Elaine Dixon of King William; niece, Alexandra Dean; nephews, Nick Dean, Jesse Dean, Jonathan Dean; and great-nephews, Paul and Judson Dean.
A memorial gathering will be conducted at a later date at The Dragon Run, where Nancy spent some of her happiest days fishing for catfish!
