Shawn Phillip Thomas (Budha) Bristow, 24, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 25, 2021.
He was a heavy equipment operator at Republic Services, and a cook at Portside Grill.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kristina Bristow.
He is survived by his parents, Preston and Donna Bristow; four brothers, Michael Bristow, Zackary Bristow (Stacey), Kaleb Bristow (Caroline), and Jeffrey Bristow; a sister, Elizabeth Bristow; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Shawn loved nature, hunting, fishing, and his passions were operating equipment and cooking.
He loved deeply and was a big part of so many people’s lives. He was a protector of many and would help anyone day or night. He had an unmatched work ethic all of his life, and loved to have a good time.
A viewing is planned for 1-2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 9 at Faulkner Funeral Home, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel in Saluda. Participants will then proceed to Salem United Methodist Church in Gloucester for a graveside service.
