Brenda Joyce Knupp

On Oct. 15, 2020, Brenda Joyce Knupp left this earthly home filled with wonderful memories of the times spent with her family.

She is survived by her amazing son, Chad R. Knupp, his wife Tamara and their children Carter (7) and Sloane (3) (the world’s most perfect grandchildren), a sweet granddaughter Chelsea, and her brother Gary Williams. Also surviving is a one-of-a-kind kid sister, Linda Williams, who led many adventures, and her marvelous husband, Jim, with whom she spent 51 plus years traveling to many ports of call. He was her partner, a wild and crazy guy and personal chef, and last but not least her special little buddy, Beignet.

Brenda graduated from Shawnee Mission High School (Johnson County, Kansas), attended Baker University (Baldwin, Kansas) and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority.

She owned and operated an interior design studio, “Just For You, Designs!”, in Naperville, Ill., for 20 years.

After moving to Hartfield in 2005, she became a Master Gardener, joined Northern Neck Audubon Society (at one point was board secretary), served on the Middlesex County Public Library Board of Directors, was a member of the Garden Club of Virginia-Middle Peninsula, enjoyed two book clubs and was a member of Christ Church Parish, Saluda.

At this time there will be no funeral services. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Donations may be sent to Baker University, Baldwin, Kansas.

Arrangements are by Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
