Herman Dale Sears, 82, of Welaka, Fla., passed into the presence of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020, after a brief illness. He was born Nov. 13, 1937.
Mr. Sears retired in 1995 as a millwright with Chesapeake Paper Corporation in West Point. He served Gloucester County as a volunteer fireman for 26 years, was a licensed Ham radio operator (KI4NJT) and participated in various church and charitable works in the area. He moved to Florida in 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie, of Welaka; daughters, Karen Dale Walton, Ruth Ann Dunn and Janet Lynn Fulford, as well as their respective families, all of whom reside in the Gloucester area; sons, Brian W. Bosley of St. Augustine, Fla. and Michael S. Bosley of Plano, Texas, as well as their families.
A family memorial service has been conducted.
