James A. Bumgardner
James Arliss Bumgardner died at home on June 22, 2015 after a short illness. He was born in 1935 and grew up in Winston-Salem, N.C. In 1955 he began his studies at Richmond Professional Institute, where he graduated with a BFA degree and went on to teach drawing and painting for 37 years.
