Celebrate Light Community Youth Group, organized in fall 2021 by Middlesex community volunteers, conducted an event on Good Friday, April 15, at the Hartfield Family YMCA.
About 50 teens participated, including local students in the praise band, One Headlight, led by the Rev. Aaron Wells, pastor of Pure Life Church. Pastor Wells also spoke briefly to the teens after the band played.
“I was pleased with the number of kids who attended Celebrate Life’s third event, especially during a holiday weekend,” said Elizabeth Johnson, a volunteer from Lower United Methodist Church.
