The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger (2-0, 0-0) football team remains undefeated this week as MHS beat the Lancaster Red Devils Friday in Lancaster stadium, 37-0.

The Chargers had 348 yards of total offense and running back Cameron Hammond rushed for 235 yards on seven carries and scored three offensive touchdowns and a defensive TD.

The Charger football team has a bye (off) week this week. MHS will be back, however, on Friday, Oct. 1, to take on the Northumberland Indians at Bristow/Boxley Field in Saluda. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
