CCS softball team gets streak of wins

The Christchurch School softball team, in only its second year, is on a roll under new Head Softball Coach Ellie Armistead. After a slow start on the season, the team is hitting its stride with recent significant wins over Norfolk Christian (11-1), Norfolk Academy (15-0), Collegiate School (22-3 and 14-0), Miller School of Albemarle (11-5), and Catholic High School (15-4).

The team’s home diamond is at the Middlesex County Sports Complex Field #4. Team captains are Teresa Espiritu ‘26, daughter of Rahn and Annie Espiritu of Gloucester, and Avery Thomas ‘26, daughter of Joshua and Heather Thomas of Cobbs Creek.
