The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors (MCBS) voted on Tuesday, May 7, to approve a $3.3 million contract with Norman Company Inc. of Mechanicville to restore the old Lewis B. Puller Center building at Cooks Corner to house the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office and emergency service’s offices.

The approval of the contract by the board authorized County Administrator Matt Walker and Supervisors Chairman Don Harris to sign the contract and to move forward with construction.

“We feel extremely fortunate to have gotten the $3.3 million bid on this project,” said Walker. “We think we got a great price in this type of building environment.”
