Percy Lockley Jr.

Percy Lockley Jr., 61, of Middlesex County was killed on Monday, April 29, 2024 in a car accident.

He was born Feb. 22, 1963 to his now deceased parents, Percy Lockley Sr. and Katherine Smith-Key of Middlesex County.

His survivors are his wife, Shirley Lockley; his children, Lamica Lockley, Jillian James (Matthew), Lecarte Lockley, Timothy, Shane, Chris and Shannan; his grandchildren, Tyshaun, Ka’marlie, Bella, Giada, Hasani, Aiden and Nevaeh; two sisters, Katherine Sheppard (Mack) of Locust Hill, Priscilla Johnson (Andy) of Hampton; followed by a host of nieces and nephews.

Percy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He lived life to the fullest every day. He loved riding motorcycles and working on his race cars. He was also well recognized for his passion for pouring concrete.

John 16:22 reads, “So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”

A celebration of his life is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at Calvary Baptist Church, 3971 General Puller Highway, Saluda.

Percy’s favorite color was red and he loved blue jeans and cowboy boots. Everyone is welcome to wear those.

Repast will follow at the American Legion Post 82, 180-238 Watson Landing, Saluda.
