Laura Ann Singh and Butterbean Jazz Trio members are set to give a free concert at 5 p.m. this Sunday, May 5, at Urbanna Baptist Church at 121 Watling St. in Urbanna.
Singh is a multilingual American singer, recording artist, and composer associated with Brazilian popular music and Latin American boleros. She has performed in Europe, Russia, and South America.
She headlined New York’s annual Global Fest and performed for National Public Radio’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
Joining her at UBC will be Butterbean Jazz Trio members, Rusty Farmer on bass, Lee Covington on keyboard and Scott Clark on drums.
Urbanna Baptist Church is at 121 Watling St. in Urbanna.
