The Middlesex High School (MHS) varsity baseball team (0-6) lost to the Lancaster Red Devils (5-1) Friday, March 29, 8-2, as the Chargers continue to struggle on offense.

The Chargers just can’t seem to score enough runs as Lancaster pitchers held MHS batters to three hits in the game and two runs. Jackson Murray, Jakub Bowen and Shane Glenn each had a hit. Murray had an RBI and scored a run, while Bowen also scored. The Chargers have scored just six runs in six games.

The Chargers next game after spring-break is against the West Point Pointers. The game is at MHS’s Fleet Field and will start at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 9.
