The Middlesex County Woman’s Club’s (MCWC) annual Before Easter Pound Cake Sale is set for 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 30, at the MCWC clubhouse (the old colonial courthouse) on Virginia Street in Urbanna. MCWC members are busy baking and crafting for this year’s sale. “Thanks to all of our supporters for helping us in last year’s sale,” a MCWC rep said.
Interested in playing Mah Jongg? MCWC invites Mah Jongg enthusiasts to play at the MCWC clubhouse in Urbanna each Thursday at 1 p.m. Anyone interested can call or text Ann Wickwire at 804-512-3272. Haven’t played for awhile? Tutoring may be provided as needed. “Hop toi!”
This May, MCWC will once again have its Treasure Trove sale along with a plant sale to get your garden ready for your warm season guests. The sale will be May 11.
