James Tyler “Turk” Crittenden III, 87, of Deltaville, passed away at his home after a short illness on Friday, Nov. 23, 2023.
Turk was the owner and operator of Merryvale Farms Inc. in Deltaville, farming for his entire life. He was a member of Donovan Masonic Lodge #75 and of Philippi Christian Church, Deltaville.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lucina; daughter, Katherine; son, Tyler (Katie); grandchildren, Blake, James Curtis, and Georgia.
Turk is preceded in death by his daughter Lynda Vale.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26, at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel. A graveside service is planned for 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, at Phillipi Memorial Gardens, Deltaville.
