Memory Lane Car Club displays vehicles

On Saturday, Oct. 23, the Memory Lane Car Club displayed its collector cars at Commonwealth Senior Living.

With a beautiful day the staff at Commonwealth Senior Living brought out many of the residents to enjoy the Memory Lane Car Club show. A number of the residents spoke of fond memories brought back by the sight of the vintage vehicles. A large amount of interaction between the car owners and residents made for a very pleasant day for all concerned. The residents enjoyed having their pictures taken with the cars of their choice. The Memory Lane Car Club thanked Activities Director Evon Smith and the staff and residents of Commonwealth Senior Living for making it an enjoyable day.

Cars on display included a Pontiac convertible owned by Cliff and Jody Nelson of White Stone, the home-built Ford coupe owned by Jerry and Lizz Lester of Deltaville, the Corvette owned by Ken and Rachel Knight of Topping and just visible is the Jeep wagon owned by Eric and Jill Zelman of White Stone. Above, Eric Zelman and Cliff Nelson discuss the events of the day. (Contributed)
