Nation’s top croquet players to compete at Hartfield club

Nationally top ranked croquet players will compete next month in the United States Croquet Association Golf Croquet Nationals at the Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club (CBCC) in Hartfield. The competition, which begins on Sept. 1, features some of the finest players in the sport.

“Many of the top names in croquet will compete,” said Macey White, CBCC club pro. “This is the largest and most competitive field ever for a national golf croquet event. It marks the first time that this area has hosted a golf croquet event at this high level.”

The Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club welcomes spectators for the National Championships and welcomes visitors every Wednesday and Sunday at 1 p.m…
