Jessie Merle Walton, 90, of Mattaponi, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2020 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John Moses Walton; two brothers, Joseph L. Walton Jr. and Monroe Nelson Walton; and a great-granddaughter, Maren Eloise Norris.
Jessie is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Robyn and Chris Vincent of West Point, Beverly and Willard Norris Jr. of Deltaville; six grandchildren and their spouses, Christopher and Jocelyn Vincent, Brad and Danielle Norris, Jonathan Norris, Benjamin and Amanda Vincent, Jessica and Chase Evans, and Ryan and Jeanne Norris; 12 great-grandchildren, Camryn and Cody Vincent, Ruby Kate, Molly and Lucy Vincent, June and Matilda Evans, Jon Daniel and Luke Norris, Ella and Matilyn Norris, and Jolie Norris; along with a sister-in-law, Lois Walton, whom she loved as a sister.
A graveside service was conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8 in Old Church United Methodist Church Cemetery.
