On Sunday after its normal Mass celebration, Catholic Church of the Visitation broke ground for a new worship area. Many years into planning, the new worship area completes the master plan developed years ago for church expansion. It will seat approximately the same number of persons as before, but in a different setting.

The present facility is multiple use and will serve as a fellowship hall and narthex (sort of a lobby area)  for the new building.

The Topping church continues to offer in-person weekly services 9 a.m. Sundays for half of its parishioners one week and the other half the next Sunday, adhering strictly to state and diocesan guidelines. Additionally, all Sunday and daily Masses are livestreamed for those parishioners unable to attend services.
