Barbara Jean Thomas, 73, of Hardyville, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020.
She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church and for many years was the secretary for the Rappahannock Civic Club and participated in its food bank and bingo.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Croxton and Igholdia Werner. She is survived by her two children, Joseph “Jody” Thomas, and Tammy Saunders; three grandchildren, Ray Carlton III, Ashley Carlton, and Victoria Thomas; and her brother, Tommy Croxton (Lisa).
A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
