The Town of Urbanna fireworks are back on schedule for the town’s Independence Day celebration. Town Administrator Garth Wheeler informed the town council on March 25 that the fireworks show is set for Friday, July 2. Fireworks were canceled for 2020 due to COVID-19.
There was no word on if the Urbanna Boat Parade will be offered. For more than a decade, a parade of decorated boats preceded the fireworks.
