2013 Urbanna Oyster Festival Entertainment Schedule

Friday, November 1, 2013
  • 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Festival Village features street sales, children’s rides, clowns, games, arts and crafts, entertainment stages and lots of good food

  • 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Waterfront Educational Activities at Upton’s Point Marina include John Mitchell Map

  • 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Model Boat Builders Displays at Old Tobacco Warehouse/Visitor’s Center

  • 10 – 11 a.m. Robert Keyes (Multi-facet Solo Fingerstyle Guitarist) on the porch of the Old Tobacco Warehouse

  • 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Jonathan Austin (Magician & Juggler), Carnival and Pony Rides and Rappahannock Model Railroaders at the Children’s Activity Area in Festival Village

  • 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Bad Ace (Rock and Country) at Waterfront Stage

  • 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Stuck On A Name (Reggae) at Festival Village Stage

  • 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Oyster Festival Wine Tasting at the IsaBell K. Horsley lot, between ABC Store and Post Office. Admission. Must be over 21 years of age.

  • 12 – 1 p.m. Robert Keyes (Multi-facet Solo Fingerstyle Guitarist) on the porch of the Old Tobacco Warehouse

  • 12 – 4 p.m. DJ Bo-Bo at Fireman’s Field behind the firehouse

  • 1 – 4 p.m. Jonathan Austin (Magician & Juggler) at the Children’s Activity Area in Festival Village

  • 2 – 3 p.m. Robert Keyes (Multi-facet Solo Fingerstyle Guitarist) on the porch of the Old Tobacco Warehouse

  • 4 p.m. Crowning of Festival Queen & Court at the Festival Village Stage on Rappahannock Avenue

  • 7 p.m. Fireman’s Parade begins on West Side of town

  • 8 p.m. – 12 Midnight Fireman’s Dance features Sweet Justice (Classic Rock) at the Fireman’s Field behind the firehouse. Cover charge. Must be over 21 years of age

Saturday, November 2, 2013
    9 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Festival Village features street sales, children’s rides, clowns, games, arts and crafts, entertainment stages and lots of good food

  • 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Waterfront Educational Activities at Upton’s Point Marina include John Mitchell Map

  • 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Model Boat Builders Displays at Old Tobacco Warehouse/Visitor’s Center

  • 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Antique Car Show at the corner of Waverly and Virginia streets. Winners in their Class will be featured in the 2 p.m. Oyster Festival Parade

  • 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. Robert Keyes (Multi-facet Solo Fingerstyle Guitarist) on the porch of the Old Tobacco Warehouse

  • 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Rip Tide (Classic/Southern Rock and New Country) at Festival Village Stage

  • 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Still Kickin’ (Classic Rock/Oldies) at Waterfront Stage

  • 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Carnival and Pony Rides and Rappahannock Model Railroaders at the Children’s Activity Area in Festival Village

  • 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Robert Keyes (Multi-facet Solo Fingerstyle Guitarist) on the porch of the Old Tobacco Warehouse

  • 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Oyster Shucking Contest behind the Firehouse

  • 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Oyster Festival Wine Tasting in the IsaBell K. Horsley lot between ABC Store and Post Office. Admission. Must be over 21 years of age

  • 1 – 2 p.m. Robert Keyes (Multi-facet Solo Fingerstyle Guitarist) on the porch of the Old Tobacco Warehouse

  • 1 – 5 p.m.  Coolin’ Out Band (Beach music) at Fireman’s Field behind the firehouse. Cover charge. Must be over 21 years of age

  • 2 – 3:30 p.m. Oyster Festival Parade begins on the west side of town

  • 3 – 5 p.m. Rip Tide (Classic/Southern Rock and New Country) at Festival Village Stage

  • 3 – 5 p.m. Still Kickin’ (Classic Rock/Oldies) at Waterfront Stage
