The Middlesex Youth Wrestling Club was recently organized. The club is part of the Peninsula Youth Wrestling League (PYWL), which consists of 15 teams spanning an area from Hampton to Lancaster.

Middlesex youth are eligible to compete at weekly PYWL meets. These meets are arranged by league coaches in accordance with a goal of pairing wrestlers fairly.

This promotes a safe, objective, unbiased standard to achieve the PYWL mission, which is, “to provide fundamental wrestling technique, show that wrestling is a fun sport to be a part of, and to provide a feeder system for the area high schools teams. The PYWL’s focus is on participation and education in the world’s oldest sport.”
