Youth league basketball tourneys begin Saturday

It’s March Madness time in the Middlesex Youth Basketball League (MYBL).

This Saturday, March 22, the MYBl postseason tournaments will begin at Middlesex High School.

At 8:45 a.m. the two Girls Division teams, The Allen Group and Eubanks Trucking, will play.

In the Senior Boys Division semifinals, regular season champion Doc Jones Used Auto Parts (6-0) will battle Harrow’s Home Center (1-5) at 9:55 a.m.; and EASI Printing (3-3) will play Marshall’s Drug (2-4) at 11:05 a.m.

In the Junior Boys Division semifinals, regular season champion Ryman’s Heating/AC (6-0) will play Williams & Son (0-6) at 12:15 p.m.; and Pitts Lumber (4-2) will square off against the Southside Sentinel (2-4) at 1:25 p.m.

On Saturday, March 29, at MHS, the Junior Boys Division championship game will be at 8:45 a.m.; the Girls Division title game will be at 9:55 a.m.; and the Senior Boys Division title game will be at 11:05.

Starter Division (ages 6-8) regular season play will continue this Saturday at Middlesex Elementary School. Medlin Ford plays the Fix-It Shop at 10 a.m.; and Cross Street Coffee plays Butch Liverman Builders at 11 a.m.
