Yorktown eliminates Colts

The Middlesex Colts Midgets lost to an impressive Yorktown Patriots team 27-6 in Yorktown on November 4 in the Peninsula Youth Football and Cheer Organization playoffs.

The Midgets were paced on defense by Mason Curles and Ryan MacDonald, who both made key plays.

Michael Hammond Jr. scored the only touchdown for the Midgets on a run early in the fourth quarter.

The Colts Midgets ended their impressive season this year with their first ever playoff berth and a season record of 7-3.

Sign-ups for the 2018 Middlesex Colts season will begin in May, 2018 at the Middlesex Sports Complex in Locust Hill.

“Thanks to everyone who has supported us this season,” said a Colts spokesperson.
