YMCA to start adult coed softball league

Adult programs continue to grow in Middlesex County as the YMCA is starting an adult coed softball league.  People can sign up individually or as a team.

There is room for a total of 60 players (15 players per team).  All teams will have 10 players on the field at a time.  Teams must have a minimum of three females on the team and one female in the infield at all times. The league is intended to be fun for all individuals involved.

“This is a program that is needed in the county and I am excited to play,” said player Stacey Moore.

All games will be held on Wednesday nights between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. at the YMCA. Games will last no longer than 90 minutes and will be a maximum of six innings.  The season will last from September 17 through October 29 and cost $20 for YMCA members and $40 for other participants.
