Speedway to host $5 Admission Night Saturday

Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway will host WXGM $5 Admission Night this Saturday, August 15.

Last Saturday’s races were rained out.

Running this Saturday will be the Victory Lap Late Models, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modifieds, New Generation Racing Sprint Cars and Limited Stocks Cars in VA Army National Guard Dirt Series Championship action.

The Truckin Thunder Sportsman and Budweiser Modified divisions have been added to the program after losing their races to the rain last Saturday.

Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. On-track activities will begin at 6:30 p.m. with hot laps.

All ages will be admitted for $5; children 6 and under will be admitted free.

Virginia Motor Speedway is a ½-mile dirt oval track on U.S. Route 17, eight miles north of Saluda at Jamaica in Middlesex County.
