Sharks capture swim league titles

The Deltaville Sharks edged the Urbanna Barracudas by 10 points to win the Middle Peninsula Swim League Championship Meet on Monday in Tappahannock.

The team scoring was as follows: Deltaville 284, Urbanna 274, Indian Creek 194, Tappahannock 123, and West Point 120.

Look for individual results from the championship meet in the July 30 issue of the Sentinel.

The undefeated Deltaville team also won the league’s regular season title.
