Self, Dixon pace JV girls victory

The JV Lady Chargers led 11-3 after the first quarter and stretched their advantage to 22-9 at the half. At the end of the third quarter, the Lady Chargers led 31-18.
Point guard Jessica Dixon hit a pair of 3-pointers early in the game and Bridgette Self continued the momentum with two quick baskets.
Self tallied 16 points in the game and Dixon added 12.
Other Lady Chargers to score included Brittin Payne with 4 points, Nila Robinson 3, and Heather Blankenship, Kendra Reed and Allison Payne 2 each.
The Lady Chargers hosted the Lancaster Lady Red Devils on December 9. They travel to Essex on Tuesday, December 15, and host Rappahannock on Thursday, December 17, in their final game before the Christmas break.
JV games are at 6 p.m. and are followed by varsity games at 7:30 p.m.
