Seahawks have 4-2 record

St. Clare Walker (SCW) Middle School boys basketball team has four wins so far this season. The Seahawks have beaten Ware Academy, Aylett Country Day School, Northumberland and Chesapeake Academy, while losing twice to Lancaster.

The boys team is led by four returning players—Raquan Marshall, Alex Fitchett, Mike Epps and Austin Bullock. New players on the team are Dre Key, Greg Pitts, Chipper Anderson, Elliott Redmon, Ziare Keyser, Carlos Marshall and Tyler Scott.

The Seahawks edged Northumber-land 52-46 on January 14. Epps tallied 14 points and 4 rebounds; Fitchett had 12 points and 13 rebounds; R. Marshall, 11 points, 7 rebounds; Key, 8 points, 8 rebounds; C. Marshall, 5 points; and Bullock, 2 points.

On January 14, SCW defeated Chesapeake Academy 36-23. Key scored 12 points and had 11 rebounds; Fitchett had 9 points; R. Marshall, 4 points; Bullock and Scott, 2 points each; and Keyser, 1 point.
