“These events have been great for the community,” said KQES Health/PE teacher Mike Hancock, “and thanks to NWA Fusion, we’ve really been able to see some great results for the PE department.
“This year we will be integrating the Wii-based “Dance Dance Revolution” interactive video game curriculum into the PE program,” said Hancock. “This cutting-edge technology has lowered the childhood obesity rate in West Virginia, and there’s no way we could have gotten it without NWA Fusion.”
Spencer Chestnutt, the new general manager of NWA Fusion added, “At every event, it’s about more than just the wrestling, which is the best in the region. NWA Fusion shows it cares about the community, and it’s always family friendly. It’s great to see the success stories that come from our fundraisers. I’m excited about joining this company and, as GM, I can promise you some of the best wrestling action you have ever seen!”
The public is invited to come out to see some of the top stars in the National Wrestling Alliance, including NWA Continental Champion “Big Time” Mike Booth, NWA Alpha Champion Mark Bravura, “Pain Train” Preston Quinn, “Mr. Mid-Atlantic” Damien Wayne, K&Q native Grail, The American Ranger, and the most hated manager in wrestling, Sheik Ali Akbar and the “Sheik’s Army!”
General admission tickets are $8. Reserved seat ringside tickets are $10. For ticket information, please call KQES at (804) 785-5830 or e-mail .
