The Middlesex High School boys basketball team improved to 2-0 in the Tidewater District and 6-2 overall with a resounding 62-41 win over Mathews last Friday night before a capacity crowd in the John S. Clements Memorial Gym in Saluda. The Chargers will host Lancaster on Tuesday, January 18; visit King and Queen on Wednesday, January 19; and host West Point on Friday, January 21. The Middlesex-Northumberland game previously scheduled for January 19 has been cancelled.
