Dickinson College baseball player Harley Moore of Deltaville was named the Centennial Conference Pitcher-of-the-Week after posting a two-hit shutout against Westfield State University.

Moore, a junior, did not allow a walk and recorded 10 strikeouts in a complete game effort.

Moore is 2-0 in his two starts this season, pitching two complete games for the Red Devils.

Dickinson recently had a great week in Florida, posting a 10-1 start to the season.

On Tuesday of this week, Moore was also named to the D3 Baseball Team of the Week, a weekly honor roll now in its third season of recognizing top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week.

The Centennial Conference includes Dickinson College, Johns Hopkins, Haverford, Swarthmore, Gettysburg, Muhlenburg, Washington College, Ursinus, Franklin and Marshall, and McDaniel.

Moore is the son of Steve and Nancy Moore of Deltaville. He was a standout baseball player and golfer at Middlesex High School (MHS).

His sister is Quinlan Moore, a Middlesex High School senior, who will sign her letter-of-intent to play softball at Lafayette College at a ceremony at MHS on April 16.
