Middlesex to host state Little League Tournament

The Middlesex County Sports Complex at Locust Hill will host the Junior Boys (ages 13-14) State Little League Tournament July 23-29. Fifteen teams, 180 players, managers, coaches and families from across the state will be coming to Middlesex for the tournament.

The teams will arrive in Middlesex on Thursday, July 23, and an opening ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. at the sports complex that night.

Play begins on Friday and continues daily through July 29. There will be 39 games leading up to the title game.

A Vendor Village will be held at the sports complex from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, July 24-25. For more information, contact Randy Blue at 815-8070.
