Middlesex All-Stars tie for first

Middlesex had a very strong showing and finished tied for first place in its bracket in the Stars of Tomorrow Tournament this past week at Dreamfields in Lancaster County. Middlesex posted a 2-1-1 record.
There were 12 teams in the tournament, which began Thursday and ended Sunday afternoon.
On Sunday, Middlesex was placed in the top division of the tournament and played a great game, but lost in extra innings 4-3.
The team would like to thank all the friends and family members who came to support them and a special thank-you to Middlesex Metals of Urbanna for sponsoring the team. The results are as follows:

The Middlesex Metals All-Stars will participate in another game on Friday, August 8, when they play the Japanese traveling team in Lancaster at Dreamfields at 2 p.m.
