MHS varsity football team loses 44-22 to Sussex

The Middlesex High School football team lost 44-22 to Sussex Central Friday night at the annual Oyster Bowl Game. The Chargers had trouble containing the Royal Tigers running attack but Sussex fumbled the ball several times, leading to two MHS touchdowns. Middlesex (0-3) was paced by Nigel Rich who rushed for 79 yards, Malcolm Ward with a 70-yard kick return, and Chuckie Morris who passed for 30 yards and connected on two 2-point conversions.
