MHS trackmen end regular season with 20-3 record

The Middlesex High School (MHS) boys track and field team (20-3) ended its regular season with a second place finish in a five-team meet at Charles City on May 9. 

Lancaster beat the Chargers with 166 points to Middlesex’s 124. Essex finished third with 79 points; Charles City, fourth, 43 points; and King and Queen, fifth, 11 points.

The Chargers were paced by the MHS 4x800 meter relay team that finished second and met the state qualifying standard.

The Tidewater District meet was held Wednesday, May 15, at Charles City High School.
