MHS JVs win title
The Middlesex High School boys JV basketball team clinched the Tidewater District championship with a 45-16 win over West Point on Friday.
The Chargers are 7-0 in Tidewater District competition with just one game left against King and Queen. “We are looking to go undefeated in the Tidewater District,” said MHS coach Jason Williams. “We are having an unbelievable season and the boys have played their hearts out.”
Against West Point, MHS was paced by Jacob Self with 11 points; Marquez Holmes scored 10; Andre Johnson 6; D’Angelo King 5; Trevon Hooks and Brad Gills 4 each; Monti Sutton 3; and Sean Johnson 2.
